Christmas
in the Philippines is not complete without parol.
The workshop aims to promote one of the Philippines’ cultural traditions during
the
Christmas season. The display of parol
tradition goes back to
early 1600’s after the arrival of the Spaniards to
spread Christianity. The workshop
includes presentation of the history and significance of parol in our
culture.
Enjoy the sing-along of Filipino Christmas Carols, kakanin, salabat at regalo para
sa
mga kabataan. Exchange gift for kids (value at least $5.00),
Christmas raffles and lots of surprises!
To participate in the exchange
gift session, you have to bring a gift to exchange with.
Awards for Best Parols in 3 age
groups:
(A: 10 yrs
old and below B: 11 to 17 yrs old
and C: 18 and above)

Prizes, Fun, Pasko Carols and Pinoy Kakanin
Meet
new Pinoy friends. Fil-Am kids learn our culture , all
Pinoys as one! Bring your favorite kakanin to share!
Accommodation is limited to 100.

be admitted on a first come, first served basis.
